We are taking the summer off from meeting due to vacation schedules. Our next meeting is Sunday, September 26th at Metalwerx. We will be discussing goals for the upcoming year, demos, and lectures we would like at our meetings. Please bring your ideas.
Michela Verani of Everlasting Treasures and Monte Nikkel of Frog Hollow Wearable Art will be attending the PMC Conference this July at Purdue. We will have a display at the conference representing metal clay jewelry from our local members with a New England theme. Thank you Michela and Monte for setting up the booth for our members! If there are any members that have New England inspired metal clay pieces that you would like displayed at the conference, please email Monte asap at ribette (at) comcast (dot) net.
We welcome new members at all of our meetings.

The GBMC Charms are due at this meeting. A email was sent to all members of the group regarding this event. If you did not receive the email, please send an email to bostonmetalclay (at) bostonmetalclay (dot com).
At the April meeting Karen Karon showed us her amazing metal clay Zakim Bridge pendant and viking knit necklace that will be on display at the PMC Conference in July. Mikki designed leaf earrings and pendants for the conference as well. There is still time to design pieces for the PMC Conference. Please bring your finished pieces to the May 23rd meeting. If you are designing a piece for the PMC Conference, please include a note with your piece including name, description, and if you learned the technique from a demo in the group. (Karen learned the viking knit at our January meeting.)
Some upcoming demos will be Ice Resin, pebeo, carving, rivets, felting, bead crochet, and a discussion on designing a logo.
New members are encouraged to join at our meetings.
